The Coat of Arms Design, Denomination, and Limited Mintage: How Do They Relate?
Unique Meanings Behind the Obverse Side
Do you remember when we talked about the unique meanings behind the obverse of our coins, which enhance their value? You can read more about it in this article here.
Contributing Factors to Value
Precious metals, expressive design, advanced technology, and numbering – all these undoubtedly contribute to the value of T&S Coin collectible coins, turning them into valuable works of art. However, these are not the only main factors; let’s highlight another one: The coat of arms design, denomination and limited mintage, how do they relate?
Importance of Coat of Arms, Denomination, and Limited Mintage
Coat of arms, denomination, and limited mintage, these are especially related!

For a collectible coin to be recognized and distinguished from a simple medal, it requires a denomination granted by the central bank of a specific country. This denomination gives the coin its value and strictly limits its minting worldwide.
In Europe, only the European Central Bank can issue coins with the EUR denomination. However, central banks administered by New Zealand from countries like Fiji, Cameroon, or Niue Island issue licenses for dollars or francs. T&S Coin collaborates with these entities to release coin collections, with the quantity of coins minted strictly regulated and protected. These countries authorize the use of the country’s coat of arms and denomination, and have strict usage regulations, which is why the obverse of each coin always features the monetary denomination along with the coat of arms of the issuing country. Due to these strict usage requirements, this part of the design often remains unchanged and tells that all our coins are limited mintage.
Limited mimtage is another key indicator of the value of T&S Coin coins, ensured by the denomination and the coat of arms of the partnering country depicted on the obverse.
Value Over Time
T&S Coin coins are valuable works of art that are undoubtedly more valuable than ordinary national currency, and their value increases even more over time.
