12th Legendary Warriors coin: Miyamoto Musashi
T&S Coin introduces the 12th release in its ongoing Legendary Warriors series — a tribute to Miyamoto Musashi, one of Japan’s most iconic historical figures. Known as an undefeated swordsman, philosopher, and strategist, Musashi remains a symbol of discipline, clarity, and mastery.
Born in 1584 during Japan’s turbulent Sengoku period, Musashi is said to have won his first duel at just thirteen. His path led him across the country as a ronin, challenging renowned warriors of his era. His most famous duel took place in 1612 on Ganryū Island, where he defeated Sasaki Kojirō with a single strike using a wooden sword carved from an oar. This moment cemented his legacy as an unmatched tactician and master of the blade.
The coin is struck in 2 oz of .999 fine silver, featuring an antique finish, high relief, and selective gilding, capturing Musashi in dynamic motion. The design highlights the balance between steel, discipline, and inner calm — qualities central to Musashi’s philosophy.
Issued by Niue (5 Dollars, 2025), the coin is limited to 500 pieces worldwide and is available in standard or NGC-graded packaging.
With this release, T&S Coin continues expanding the 15-coin Legendary Warriors collection, produced in collaboration with Pinehurst Coins.
